New York Fashion Week is officially over and if you’re anything like me you love to be in-the-know about the latest trends seen on the runway! With so many exceptional looks through the multitudes of presentations, I will be discussing three recurring trends that were some of my favorites in Spring 2019 NYFW shows! (All images are from ww.elle.com and www.teenvogue.comHead over to these websites to get a more detailed look into all the Spring 2019 fashion trends) I will also be adding similar items to these trends just in case any of you are interested!

NEON

Bright colored neons were seen all over this season from designers like Jeremy Scott, Milly, and Brandon Maxwell. We saw them presented to us ranging from sports bras to flared and tailored trousers. Do you think our closets will soon be full of bright and fluorescent tones? I think this will add a nice and fun pop of color to any casual outfit!

PRINTS

Prints were in this season! Designers opted for many of them as they used them to mix and match throughout their collections! We saw printed tops paired with contrasting bottoms as well as printed headgear by designers like Kate Spade, Monse, and Michael Kors. I think it’s amazing how designers can mix and match so well without making an entire ensemble look tacky? What do you guys think? Are prints in or out? Feel free to tell me what you think in the comments below!

YELLOW

Yellow was a huge color this year and it still continues to emerge as one of the season’s most popular colors. Designers like Pyer Moss, Milly, and Pamella Roland used this bright and sunny yellow in many head-to-toe outfits throughout the catwalk. This is a beautiful and bold color to use through all seasons and I think it’s complementary to so many different skin tones!
